Life for me is as mesmerizing as when I found out that my last name, Abdelnour, delivered from Lebanon, translated to the modern world as Slave Of Light. Being utterly and completely called by all lights, constantly looking for ways to have it closer, my work was born. Based on a new practice I call Light Knitting - consisting in the never-ending playful game between bright light and how glowing colors respond to an specific acrylic setting, filled with infinite possibilities created by holes that play the roll of the blank knitting cloth. Creating new homes to geometrical balance (or in-balance), infinite reflections and colors that glow in their own peculiar way. Equal to connections between light beings, ourselves, in the blank canvas that is our present existence.
